Caring for the San Antonio Bike Share community
The health and safety of the SA Bike Share community is our top priority. With recent news around coronavirus (COVID-19), we know you may have questions about how we can all do our part to keep the community healthy. We want to share the actions we are taking to help protect you — and what you can do to help.
San Antonio Bike Share has taken steps to protect the health and safety of our employees and riders with increased efforts to sanitize equipment and frequent communications about proper hygiene practices. We are closely monitoring the official guidelines posted by the City of San Antonio.
During a time in which social distancing is recommended, SA BikeShare will remain open as a single-person and small group transportation option. If there is an official declaration that prohibits cycling or outdoor activities, SA BikeShare is prepared to suspend our bike share service. Until then, we will continue our increased sanitation measures and constantly urge our riders to wash their hands before and after each ride.
